Lots of Great Knitting

The February meeting showed just how talented our guild members are.

Angela’s vest; she plans to re-work
the sleeves to make them less bulky
Jeannie’s hats; note that the stripe pattern
mirrors instead of repeats
A beautiful baby blanket!
Two from Chris:  Mini Mania linen stitch scarf and
Mio top-down mitts
Joan’s Wingspan
We wish the best of luck to our good friend Pat, who is moving to Klamath Falls, Oregon, to be closer to her son. Pat, who is known for her expertise knitting two socks at a time on two circular needles, is likely to find lots of knitting and quilting friends in her new home. She has promised to coordinate her visits back to our area with guild days so that we can all visit together and see her latest socks. Best wishes for your new life in Klamath Falls, Pat! We will miss you!

Best wishes to Pat!

In other business:
  • The March 12 meeting will be at 10:30 a.m.
  • Jeannie will see if we can set up a field trip to Maker’s Mercantile for either Thursday, April 18, or Thursday, April 25.
  • Sue V. asks for any leftovers you might have from your skein of Trekking that Karin Skacel gave us at the November 2012 meeting. Please bring them to the next meeting. She thinks she has enough to finish her project, but a little cushion would not hurt.
