  • LYS tours — bring patterns, yarn, and ideas that you picked up during the LYS Tour, SSYC, and Seattle-to-Portland yarn train
  • Annual summer picnic
  • Show and share
Bring your name tent, your knitting, and your enthusiasm.

All sorts of interesting things relating to knitting turn up on the Internet.

For example, Sue L. found this site for knitted furniture. Very cool.

And Sue V. found this site for wool and wine. Are these not wonderful sheep?

Is it silk? Wool? Sue L. used this bleach test to identify some mystery yarn.

At the retreat, Jeanne introduced TECHknitting, a great resource for your technical questions and ways to think about and improve your knitting.

May Meeting

Guild members showed off some fine knitting, many of which we say in progress at the April retreat.

After several false starts, Chris got going on and finished her cabled poncho.

Naomi finished her Wingspan scarf.

In other knitting, Sue L. designed and modeled her new top, perfect for summer.

Libbie finished a beautiful felted bag.

Karen’s felted slippers are still a work in progress.

In the business part of the meeting, Sue L. said she would continue to maintain the membership list. Thanks, Sue!
