Knitting, Food, Friendship

The December meeting had everything — knitting, food, and friendship — to celebrate the holidays.

Karin's sweater
Barb's Norwegian patterns
Sue's Quincy hat and Scaruffle
Chris's crocheted ice skate ornaments
Jeannie's shawlette
Angela's scarf
We also collected a large pile of gifts that Sue L. will give to Sleep Country for distribution to foster children. Thank you to everyone for your generosity.

~~~ Schedule Changes ~~~
Mark your calendar for these schedule changes for guild meetings. The time and locations may change, but all meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month. Consult this blog for details as they develop.
  • January 2012 and March 2012 meetings: We will meet at the Puyallup Library from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Note time change. Bring snacks to share or a sack lunch, if you like.
  • February 2012 meeting: Rainier Manor, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Note location change. Lisa has arranged for Millie from the Bonney Lake Ben Franklin to teach a class on how to make your knitted items fit better. The class will cost $12 per person. Details coming soon.
  • April 2012: Back to normal! Meet at the Puyallup Library, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
In all cases, we need to clean up after ourselves.
Holiday Meeting
December Holiday Meeting
Tuesday, December 13, 9:30 a.m.
Puyallup Library
Be sure to bring:
  • Your WIPs and FOs to show and share.
  • Food for a potluck lunch.
  • Plate(s) for your lunch, beverages (coffee and tea will be provided), eating utensils, and serving plates and utensils for the dish you bring to share.
And: A gift or two or three that will be given to Sleep Country for distribution to foster children.
We need to clean up after our meeting. If everyone helps, we should be able to finish the clean-up in no time at all.
And, coming soon: information on the April retreat. It promises to be a good one.
