Such Great Knitting!

It is baby season for many Puyallup Knitting Guild knitters. Joan D.'s great-grandchild will be cozy in this lovely blanket.

Deanne's friend's baby will cuddle in this beauty.

Joan M.'s granddaughter will be very stylish in her sweater.

Hats also are popular, as Sue L. and Carole show.

Sue V. finished her feather-and-fan shawl.

And JJ is producing beautiful bags that are perfect for carrying precious knitting projects.

*** Updates ***

The summer potluck at Pattie's house will be Tuesday, August 3 (not August 10), at 11 a.m. Bring your knitting and something yummy to share. If the weather cooperates, we will meet in Pattie's gazebo by the lake; otherwise, we will be inside. Nita will provide details and directions in the newsletter.

Pat has offered to host a winter meeting in the community room at her retirement community. Maybe our December holiday meeting?

The guild has some money left over from the Spring Retreat. Joan D. is going to contact a local yarn store about hosting a one-day class for the guild. Topics? Maybe entrelac, maybe cast-ons and bind-offs? Joan will report on possible topics and dates.
