Decisions, Decisions

We have enough good ideas for our spring 2010 retreat that we could fill several retreats. During the next few months, we need to choose our topic for 2010. The choices so far are:
  • Mitered squares — here is an example
  • Short rows — here is a tutorial
  • Gaia shawl
  • Entrelac — here is an example
  • Stashbusting ideas
  • Quincy hat by Jared Flood, a.k.a. Brooklyn Tweed. This is a pattern for purchase, either in Jared's Made in Brooklyn booklet for Classic Elite (approximately $16) or as a Ravelry download ($4.75). We may be able to negotiate a lower price for the pattern as a group. Each person would have to buy a pattern to stay in line with copyright requirements.
Think about what you might want to do at the retreat, and who you might want from our group to teach. We'll talk about this at the January meeting, so gather your thoughts and preferences.

If you have any thoughts in the meantime, you can post them in the comments section.

  1. I am happy the decision on the retreat was finalized. I will not be attending as it conflicts with a quilting retreat which i mentioned in November. It is a ways off yet, but I will be eager to hear all about it.
